Ringgold Telephone Company (RTC) is proud to host the 3rd Annual Summerset Concert, featuring Grammy Award winner and legendary artist, Charlie Daniels Band. Summerset, presented by Chattanooga Times Free Press, WDEF News Channel 12, and US 101, will take place Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. The event will be held at the newly established Northwest Georgia Bank Amphitheater, minutes from downtown Chattanooga.
Charlie Daniels is a singer, guitarist, and fiddler, who began writing and performing in the 1950s. The Charlie Daniels Band's chart-busting hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," became a Platinum single, topped both country and pop charts, won a Grammy Award, earned three Country Music Association trophies and launched Daniels' Million Mile Reflections album to Triple Platinum.
On January 24, 2008, Charlie Daniels was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, and is a sure legend in the music industry.
Tickets for Summerset are ON SALE NOW! Internet presale tickets will be available for $25 and tickets may be purchased at the gate on the day of the event for $35. Tickets are available through ticketweb.com.
The 2011 Summerset Concert, an RTC event, is presented by the Chattanooga Times Free Press, WDEF News Channel 12 and US 101. The event is sponsored by Erlanger, Heartgard, Frontline and Price Ringgold Drugs. All proceeds will benefit The Evitt Foundation, a 501c3 which promotes child welfare and education. With the devastation of the recent tornados, the Foundation will also be assisting families that have been displaced.
Summerset will take place at the Northwest Georgia Bank Amphitheater in Ringgold, Georgia. Talent for the Summerset Concert was booked by Mega Concert Attractions.

From Atlanta: Take I-75 North; exit at #350 (Battlefield Parkway) and turn Left (West) onto Battlefield Parkway towards Ft. Oglethorpe.
From Chattanooga: Take I-75 South; exit at #350 (Battlefield
Parkway) and turn Right (West) onto Battlefield Parkway towards Ft. Oglethorpe.
Drive exactly 1.6 miles and turn Right at the second Signal Light on to Old Mill Road. Our green and yellow "Benton Place" sign is on the corner. Drive approximately 1/4 mile and turn right into Benton Place Campus. Pass the Colonnade on your left (bldg. with a fountain in front). Continue onto gravel drive. Amphitheater is on your left.
